The question arises as to how you got yourself into such an out of control predicament in the first place, when all you were looking for is a bit of peace and quiet. Perhaps the best place you can start is to have your own needs met first, rather than accommodating what others want and/or expect from you.
Do not allow your emotions to overcome you, as you need to keep them in check to acquire what it is that you truly desire.
It is as if you have a plan, have a wish, and yet also need to control yourself for the time being whilst everything aligns. Once this happens and you are in the right frame of mind your wish can come to fruition.
Whatever it is you are hoping and wishing for, you are in it for the long term. This is not a fly-by-night scheme or hope you are thinking of, it is more the desire for security and stability that you need to put energy into, to bring it into your life.
