A couple of the things the Star symbolizes are healing and inspiration. As far as healing goes, a lot of us have a hard time giving into the process.
Healing sometimes involves feeling pain and sadness, and most of us don't want anything to do with those feelings, so we try hard to cover over our emotions, or force ourselves to do things we aren't ready for, or try to be better when we're not. This is when we really need to take a step back, rest, and honor what we are feeling, so that it may pass more quickly.
It's easy to forget that slowing down to process our emotions and situations, is, in the end, what helps us heal on a deep level. On a real level this slowdown helps us get stronger for what's next.
Many of us live in a culture that demands so much of us, without allowing any time for physical and emotional healing. While there are some places where people are becoming more aware that quality of life helps quality of business, it is up to us to advocate for our own personal needs.
Be kind to yourself in rough times, take whatever time is needed to heal, knowing the world is there for your taking when you are ready and that you don't have to rush to get there.
On this card, you see the woman pouring the water into the earth to keep everything lush and green, to make sure things are renewed.
So, if you are coming out of a rough time, whether it's mourning a loved one or a breakup, recovering from a physical ailment, or maybe even a whole movement, take the time to heal, to water yourself with whatever nourishes you. Also, allow the space for others to do this as well.
As far as inspiration goes, this card usually comes up to remind you to keep your goals and what inspires you in mind. Sometimes when we are pursuing something, we get fatigued with the details and the process and we wonder if things will ever come about.
The best way to keep from becoming discouraged is to keep the end goal in mind. When you do this, it will help you keep the energy going with whatever details you need to involve yourself with to get to your end goal.
Also, on the grand topic of dreams, know that it's okay that you have to do practical things to get on your way to what you truly want to be doing. Just keep your inspiration at the forefront to help you keep moving forward.
