Ten of Pentacles

The Ten of Pentacles can address financial stability and material well-being. It can also, in advice form, speak towards focusing on your material security.

Perhaps this means looking at your finances, and trying to figure out how to be able to grow more in this area. Perhaps this just means to focus on feeling secure, period, whether that's through grounding yourself, or seeking situations that help you feel more securely grounded.

There is a Danish term people have been obsessing over lately. The word is “hygge" (pronounced hue-guh). It refers to coziness, charm, familiarity, comfort, reassurance, and simpleness.

On a materialistic scale, a lot of American home decorating companies have tried to cash in on how to make your home, or at least an area of your home, something that resonates with you in this way. And perhaps it's time to maybe look over your surroundings and ask yourself how much comfort they are giving you, and what you can do to make things more comfortable, whether it's through tidying up, or buying some things that bring you joy.

In the book, The Lifechanging Art of Tidying Up, the author tries to nudge the reader into getting rid of things that don't bring them joy, and only keep things that do. Maybe it's time to get rid of a bunch of things you have that belonged to exes. Perhaps you have books that don't inspire you, or have only sentimental value.

Using the basic tenets of Feng Shui, which is the Chinese philosophy of harmonizing yourself through your environment, you will bring more flow to your life, and open up energy for new things and gain more peace of mind.

Perhaps you can even find comfort and security though smaller actions, like taking the time to make yourself a cup of tea, or bake something, or read a book, or hang out with a good friend. Maybe you could have a phone chat with someone you care about, watch a good movie, take a walk by the lake, or get a massage.

Whatever promotes warmth, engagement with the present, and a grounded sense of self is recommended for you right now (and should be regularly built into your schedule). It doesn't have to cost a lot of money or any money at all.
