There is no use crying over spilled milk as the saying goes and with the Three of Swords this is usually what you are dealing with.
Whilst the Three of Swords is not as difficult to deal with as the Ten of Swords, it does imply you are going through a period of sadness that you may feel is out of your control.
If you could just look at the situation in a different light you may benefit from the insight and power you actually still hold.
Swords stand for intellect and therein lays the secret to dealing with the mental conundrums they sometimes present.
The Three of Swords usually implies sadness and heartache, so you may be dealing with a break up or sadness over something that is lost. Your first thoughts may be to dwell on the negativity of the situation as your heart feels this loss. If you don't start using your intellect to sift through the actual facts of the situation you may be stuck there for a while.
For this reason use your head to find your way out of the sadness. I am not saying the sorrow is not real but if you stay focused on it to the exclusion of all else then you will not find a way out of it. If action is needed to fix the situation you may not see your way clear to what action you need to take.
Stay in the present. Don't get stuck in “what if's". Remember that all things pass and you are a beautiful and worthwhile person. By portraying this to the world and those around you then you may find things starting to change and turn around for you.
